If you install Google Drive desktop app then you can backup that dir to your ssd. But Kopia won’t backup directly FROM google drive. So yes, the answer is “ **No.** ” ---

Thanks for letting me know. By the way, I use Linux Mint. As you might know there’s no Google Drive for Desktop for Linux. ---

Use program called `rclone` - [https://rclone.org/](https://rclone.org/) - and mount your GDrive locally - then you can backup it using kopia like any other local folder. ---

You can try using **Shoviv Google Drive Migration Software**!! Maybe this Software can solve your problems. ---

I use a tool called Gs Richcopy 360 , which is the best to copy from Googledrive to local drive or a cloud , search it
