# Kopia User interface not starting on Ubuntu 24.04

Hi,
I have Ubuntu 24.04 installed on a Macbook pro. Installed kopia ( [Download & Installation | Kopia](https://kopia.io/docs/installation/) ). Today i want to configure it but the GUI is not starting on Gnome. I’m pretty sure it was starting a few days ago.
I did upgrade it to version 0.23.0 yesterday.
Anyone having this problem?
Is it possible to revert to the previous version?
I did see some topics on the GUI not showing but i am not sure it’s the same problem.

Kopia .23 gui starts and am able to open repository once, thereafter nothing happens. Only a restart gets it working, again repository only opens once. I’ve rolled back…purged .23 and reinstalled 0.22.3.

Thanks! I purged .23 too. Installed the previous version. It works now.
