# Kopia v0.10.5 is out + homebrew

Hi folks,
Happy to announce that [Kopia v0.10.5](https://github.com/kopia/kopia/releases/tag/v0.10.5) is now out with many UI improvements.
Also, starting with this release, Kopia will be available via the core [Homebrew](https://brew.sh) for macOS and Linux.
With this change all you need to do is:
```auto
$ brew install kopia
```
If you have previously installed kopia from our tap, remove it by:
```auto
$ brew untap kopia/kopia
```

Love the new UI additions. Installed it several hours ago and have been experimenting.

Is there a way to install the UI via homebrew as well? The only way I’ve found so far is to manually download the binary from GitHub, but perhaps I’ve missed something?
