Hi together,

i started with Kopia a few days ago on my Unraid server and i have some permission problems with the repository. Maybe i describe the steps i execute:

1. Created repository on server via ssh and kopia executable
2. Created first snapshot with server-folders
3. Tried to connect via WIN10\_GUI to repository BUT ⁉ → No permission to some folders
 ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/free1/uploads/kopia/original/1X/5dc686550b23092906d6f5cfc6040c4e49dd8ca0.png)

So i think there is a linux permission problem but im really not an expert with linux :-/ .

Is there a way ( policy etc. ) that the repository folders are always read/write for everyone ?
My workaround at the moment is to “chmod 777 -R $backupRepositoryPath” after each snapshot, but thats not really nice.

Would be glad if anybody can give me a hint.

Best regrards,
Mathias

I know this is old, but I have the same issue. Did you ever find a solution? Thanks!
