# Port exhaustion issues

My computer occasionally stops all network activity and i noticed it is Kopia using ALL ports.

netstat -b results:  
[kopia.exe]  
TCP 127.0.0.1:49866 mycomputername:49218 ESTABLISHED  
[kopia.exe]  
TCP 127.0.0.1:49866 mycomputername:49219 ESTABLISHED  
[kopia.exe]  
TCP 127.0.0.1:49866 mycomputername:49220 ESTABLISHED  
and hundreds and hundreds more…

I’m running the latest KopiaUI on Windows 11. I connect to 3 repositories, one over the internet to a repository server at work (work files), a local folder on an internal drive, and a third one on a friends PC over the internet via a ZeroTier network.

Network goes back to normal for a while after a quit Kopia.

This seems to be related to [Kopia(UI): Fails to close TCP connections and eventually causes unrelated processes to fail · Issue #2453 · kopia/kopia](https://github.com/kopia/kopia/issues/2453), which ought to be fixed in 0.16.1.

However, still I observe this issue occasionally, last time today. (macOS & repo via SFTP)

For the records, I haven’t observed this problem in a couple of months. I guess it can be considered as resolved.
