# Where's the quickstart guide?

I can’t find a basic walk-through for setting up the gui on a windows desktop. Is there one somewhere? I have the GUI running fine on OpenSUSE; but on Windows I’m getting failed to create snapshot notices, citing access errors.

I’m trying to backup c:\users\ [person], and have a long list of standard exclusions. Like I asked, I assume there’s a guide somewhere I’m just not finding.

See attached. You’re still going to want to keep an eye, regularly, on what’s going on in this forum. The docs don’t give the full picture:
