I am giving Kopia a try and noticed Windows Defender SmartScreen flagged it as an unrecognised app. This might put off some potential users. Are there any plans to get Kopia authorized by Microsoft?
Kopia is signed using proper certificate, but it’s not the extended validation certificate (due to its cost, mostly), so Defender shows this warning.
If I understand correctly, this warning will go away with time as more and more people install the app, it but it requires a significant number of downloads. Not sure how many and how far away are we from that goal, though.
