How long should an epoch last? Currently I’m trying to figure out why I have thousands of index blobs (someone can let me know if that’s normal as well, I have over 10,000) and it looks like I have a single epoch that spans over 3,000 hours. This may be due to this bug, as once I upgraded to the test build that fixes it after noticing it in my logs, that long epoch ended. The main issue I’m trying to solve is in this topic (too many open files on macOS), and I would appreciate any help I can get. I’ve tried all compacting and rewriting I can think of through the kopia maintenance commands to no avail.
