On Feb 1st (in case dates are relevant), I created a new Kopia repository in S3 compatible storage (IDrive e2) with versioning and object locking enabled. I did not set any object locking at bucket level, I configured Kopia to handle object locking and lock extension.
Before taking any new snapshot, I did a “kopia repository validate-provider” and it succeeded, but it created objects of about 600 or 700 MB in the bucket.
I am not sure how can I safely remove those, as after some time and having run several full maintenance cycles, that space seems to still be in use. I am not sure if there is any special command I have to run to clean up those, or if there is something wrong with my bucket configuration.
Is there any documentation on this or can someone please help?
I am using Kopia 0.22.3.
