Kopia snapshot migrate… is an amazing feature to replicate snapshots between repositories/ locations…
However it appears to be very time consuming running migrate in pull mode… Haven’t tried push mode…
I have 2 repositories one on my Nas and another one on a USB HDD. The Nas repositories have snapshots of qcow2 images (snapshots size ~ 380G - 400G. These are large qcow2 files ~60G. Both repositories are compressed zstd best comp.
I am doing a snapshot migrate Nas -->> usb… Over WiFi
The real problem comes if I terminate kopia in the middle say when it’s hashed arround 250G…
Repeating the same command will start again, redownloading & rehashing without uploading till it reaches the place where I terminated kopia previously.
The whole process of redownloading from my Nas and rehashing already partially migrated snapshots takes time…
The same issue appears for snapshot create on large files…
