I have over a years worth of backups stored in a repository. I accidentally managed to wipe everything in my entire Linux root directory. The backups were on a separate hard drive but when I try to connect back to the repository after reinstalling Linux it says:
Connect Error: INTERNAL: internal server error: connect error: error opening repository: error connecting: unable to create shared content manager: error loading indexes: error downloading indexes: error loading index blob xr16_23_42970cdae58e80cb7470e75f3274f1cc-s895096f775fb68be-c1: decrypt blob: error decrypting BLOB xr16_23_42970cdae58e80cb7470e75f3274f1cc-s895096f775fb68be-c1: unable to decrypt content: cipher: message authentication failed
I can take that individual file out but then it just gives an error with another one and it seems to go on forever so I’m not sure if it’s just some specific corrupt files or if it’s missing a kind of encryption thing that was in the original Kopia config somewhere.
Help is very much appreciated
