I created a repository in a Backblaze B2 bucket quite some time ago. Now, because of many of the features pointed out in the ransomware protection article, I would like to switch Kopia’s connection mechanism to the S3 compatibility API that Backblaze offers. To be clear, I would like to keep using my existing Kopia repo in the Backblaze B2 bucket without modification and simply switch how Kopia connects to it to use S3’s API. Is this possible?
If you created your B2 bucket “quite some time ago”, does it actually have S3-compatible endpoint?
Buckets created before May 4, 2020, cannot be used with B2’s S3 Compatible APIs.
