When I updated to the 0.22 version, the UI now is blank with just the version string near the top. I am running KopiaUI on windows 11. I’ve restarted the computer and Kopia. No change. It works if I open “connect to another repo” but I cannot see my existing repo.
I could also reproduce in macos, see Starting kopiaui only prints the version · Issue #5006 · kopia/kopia · GitHub For me, creating a new repo would show a GUI during the creation, but it would still show the above output screen after the creation.
It seems like the problem isn’t there in Linux. I have Kubuntu 25.10 (so KDE and Wayland) also running 0.22 and don’t seem to have the problem, though my repository isn’t connected yet, so I’ll have to try that.
I have the same issue in docker on zimaos. I could see it last night when I started it up but not now, I do have a snapshot in progress and I can see the other tabs like tasks etc. so I’m hoping it will come back when the snapshot completes.
Photo for reference, is only the snapshot page that doesn’t load. Ignore the fails I was just connecting the the repository for the first time and added the wrong user.
Also, I just reproduced it in another docker container, I have a second pair of repository/“client” docker containers. A little while after starting the backup task, the snapshots page stopped loading. Loads fine on the repository server docker not that that’s useful.
