Leftover, deleted files included in the snapshot

Hi! I’ve just recently found out about Kopia and I’m still learning the ropes around it. More specifically, I’ve a question regarding snapshots - checking the files stored in a given snapshot, turns out I’ve also saved “remnants” of deleted files (i. e. old .docx files, with their name starting with ~$).

It’s not much of a deal, but I’d rather get rid of them to avoid clutter. If I understood correctly, to avoid copying such files it should suffice to add a ~$* rule to “Ignore files” on the Policy (correct?).

But I’m not tech savvy enough to be 100% sure that’ll only target leftover files (and not, say, important, sensitive stuff such as program-generated files, invisible system files and the like), thus I’d rather ask here first if said rule’d work as I expect or would otherwise break something else. Or, alternatively, if there’s a better way to deal with these files.

Thanks in advance!
