Was running v0.18.2 and attempted to update to v0.20.1. Installer reported that it could not stop Kopia-UI, even though it was not running. Old version appeared to be fully uninstalled. Reboot, reinstall a couple of times and eventually the installer finished. However, Kopia-UI dies immediately after starting. No error messages.
v0.20.0 installs and runs as it should.
Anything I can try to get v0.20.1 running?
Hi, Just downloaded v0.20.1 and manually installed from zip file and seems to working fine. The only thing I can think is something got corrupted by the premature install termination. You could try manually deleting the installation directory, then backup and delete the config directories;
C:\Users\your account name\AppData\Local\kopia,
C:\Users\your account name\AppData\Local\kopia.
Back them up first,
Make sure kopia.exe and/or KopiaUI.exe isn’t running in task manager, if so, terminate them. Then try reinstalling.
