Reading Low read performance per distinct hashing process
I went on and did some testing with crypto and splitter.
As I get fairly different results, I decided it was worth asking:
should I set the repo settings (hash encryption and splitter) according to preformances of the client running KipoaUI or to the perfromances of the server running Kopia Repo Server?
Since everything is encrypted localy before data being sent out, my guess is I should use clients benchmark. Am I correct?
