Can not connect to existing repo

Hi all,

I have a repo that was functioning fine. Then I had to copy it to another computer…now I can not connect to that repo - the UI says “Create a new repo” - so it thinks there isn’t a repo at that location.

The setup I am using is to just mount the repo locally (CIFS) and connect to that using the Kopia GUI

I can see the mount point and the repo files - but Kopia will not connect to it..

Both machines are Linux Mint 23.2 - local GB LAN

Any ideas - because I’m at the stage where I will have to move to a different backup, if I can’t trust Kopia to reconnect to an existing repo.

Any help would be much appreciated, as I have run out of ideas/things to research.

Tim.

Have you tried to select “Connect to another repository…”, then “Local Directory or NAS”, then select the path to the repository on your mounted storage device, enter the repository password?
