Could anyone tell me if they have had success running Kopia on a Windows Server 2008 R2 install? I can’t seem to find any questions or discussions regarding Kopia and WS 2008 R2.
This is probably due to the fact, that no one is still using W2k8 server. Since Kopia is a Go application, you can just try yourself and if it comes up - you’re good to go, as far as Kopia is concerned.
The only thing I could think of as a potential problem would be 32-Bit vs 64-Bit, but if your W2k8 server is 64 Bit, it should work. If not, don’t expect anybody to bother about this old and inherently insecure system.
