I think that the .gitignore system to exclude file/folders/extensions in kopia-ui is not the easiest for the common user.
what do you all think about a browseable point and click explorer-window (ala new repository, where you have the button with the folder icon to browse and select which folder to use for the repository) to select [maybe also multiple] file/folders to exclude from the backup?
Not a first time Linux user, but i always end up backing up my full entire /home in various systems (wasting some space with software configs,browser garbage,system/desktop-environment files and a lot of things not needed) rather than have to fiddle with the .gitignore syntax/file…
Keep up the great work with kopia, an excellent software!
