As the subject says.
This was not the case before the update.
How can I stop this or change the intervall ?
Which OS? What storage type is the repository?
Since midnight my KopiaUI started creating snapshots nonstop, amounting to one or two per minute. The policy is set to once a day at 4:00 am. The only change is the update to 0.21.0.
B2 Backblaze, MacOS 15.5. Ran stable for more than a year before this.
I just updated Kopia on my Mac to v0.21 and am seeing nearly the same behavior–periodic maintenance is running every 10 seconds or so. I am backing up to a local Garage repository.
I just reverted back to v0.20.1 to stop the maintenance problems.
Confirmed. KopiaUI v0.21.0 is not respecting my once every 24 hr scheduling policy. It attempts to run a snapshot every few minutes.
OS is actual Windows 11 24H2.
Repository is 1and1 over WebDAV
No problems with the previous Kopia version.
same issue here. it was driving me a bit insane, running every 15~20 seconds or so
upon inspection (click on the entry) it doesn’t actually do the maintenance, but rather checks if it’s due. Still, this seems to be excessive
20:06:19.503 not due for full maintenance cycle until 2025-07-22 16:49:33.5746106 +0200 CEST

20:06:19.503 not due for maintenance
A new release (0.21.1) has been made which should fix the problem.
Ok, now its runs every hour.
