"Error 0x800700DF: The file sizeexceeds the limit allowed and cannot be saved."

Hi, so I just did a test backup and tried mounting a snapshot on Windows 10 using KopiaUI.

Excellent experience so far, except it appears I cannot open my blend files (Blender is a 3D design program that I use both for work and personal stuff, where maybe 40% of my commonly used files go up towards 2 gb of file size).

So my natural instinct was that if I cant double click to open through the mounted drive, I would simply copy it over using windows explorer:

Are there any settings I can poke to incease the file size limit? Ideally I would be able to open files of any file size that my system would normally handle just fine.

This is unfortunately a limit in Windows itself. You can work around that (to a certain degree) by using Restore instead of Mount.

I found a bunch of rticles similar to this which suggest that changing registry settings may help:
